The room was spacious and tidy, complete with an electric kettle for that much-needed morning cuppa. I appreciated the free Wi-Fi, which kept me connected during my stay. The experience was marred by a few quirks. While my girlfriend and I enjoyed a massive bed that provided us one of the best sleeps in ages, the bathroom felt a bit dated and could use an upgrade. The staff were friendly, particularly Amy from the restaurant, who navigated guest complaints with grace. On the whole, the £57 per night rate for a double deluxe room was reasonable, but if you're looking for luxury, you may want to keep looking. But if you prioritize comfort and basic amenities over extravagance, this might be worth a try.
